Every year, hungry pizza lovers come together in September for Slice Night to try pieces of pies from pizzerias across Cincinnati. The annual event, sponsored by Western & Southern, raises money for cancer care and research at the Barrett Cancer Center at UC.
Through a new virtual format this year, you can still enjoy pizza from your favorite local spots while supporting the Barrett Cancer Center at UC. For every $15 donation you make now through Sept. 24 at noon, you will get a voucher for one medium cheese or pepperoni pizza at a participating pizzeria of your choice to redeem during Slice Week, Sept. 20 through Sept. 24. While there is a limit of one Slice Week voucher per transaction, you can complete multiple transactions to purchase vouchers for more than one pizzeria.
Participating pizzerias include: Snappy Tomato Pizza, N.Y.P.D. Pizza, Strong’s Brick Oven Pizzeria, Ramundo’s Pizzeria, Bub’s Pizza Bar, Goodfellas Pizzeria, Dewey’s Pizza and LaRosa’s Pizzeria.
While we can’t be together in person to support this cause, follow these simple steps to participate in this year’s virtual Slice Week.
