For the third consecutive year, Western & Southern Financial Group was named one of the top learning and development programs in the world by Training Magazine. The official Training Top 100 rankings were announced as part of an awards program on Monday, Feb. 8. Western & Southern moved up 30 spots to 67 on the list.
Established in 2000, Training Magazine’s annual ranking honors the best in class for employee training and development. While the list originally included 125 organizations, the magazine chose to limit its list to 100 this year. Applicants are judged based on several factors, including overall training program, tuition reimbursement, training infrastructure, and training impact on business outcomes.
Western & Southern’s recognition can be attributed to its top-notch training programs and initiatives across the enterprise. Associates have access to on-site training programs, industry education and a tuition reimbursement program. Internal training programs at The Guilford Institute, the company’s on-site educational center, are carefully tailored by Talent Development to help associates upgrade the skills they need now and develop new ones for advancement. Financial products, project management, leadership and decision-making are a few of the courses offered to continue associates’ learning and growth.
