Western & Southern Life earned a No. 6 ranking in the 2024 J.D. Power U.S. Individual Annuity Study.℠ In its Oct. 17 announcement of the results, J.D. Power noted the study benchmarks the degree to which customers feel the annuity product meets their current and long-term needs.
The study measured the experiences of customers of the largest individual annuity companies in the United States. Eight “core dimensions” were examined based on responses from 3,914 individual annuity customers collected April through July 2024. In order of importance, the dimensions included trust, value for price, ability to get service, ease of doing business, people, product offerings, digital channels and problem resolution. Each contributed to an overall customer satisfaction score, providing a comprehensive look at the customer experience, according to J.D. Power.
