Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc. (Fort Washington) has named John “Jack” F. O’Connor managing director and head of business development.
In his position, O’Connor will be responsible for overseeing all strategic and tactical aspects of institutional sales initiatives and results for Fort Washington.
“We’re excited to have Jack join our business development team,” said Maribeth Rahe, president and chief executive officer of Fort Washington. “His knowledge, expertise and background complement and add to our already strong institutional new business development, relationship management and related activities.”
O’Connor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and holds FINRA series 7, 63 and 24 registrations.
Prior to joining Fort Washington, O’Connor worked at DDJ Capital Management in Waltham, Mass. where he was head of business development and client service. Prior to DDJ, he was managing director for Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York. He also worked for Pioneer Investments, responsible for North American distribution and MFS Investment Management where he headed institutional sales and consultant relations.
O’Connor began his career as a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.
