Jason Nickles, assistant vice president and assistant controller at Western & Southern, was named chief financial officer of Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA), an insurance trade association, for 2020-2021.
IASA is a nonprofit education association that helps facilitate the exchange of ideas and information in the insurance industry. Members represent insurance companies of all types, as well as companies, regulators and organizations serving the insurance industry, like banks and investment brokerage firms. IASA has been serving insurance industry professionals for more than 80 years.
“Being a part of IASA has helped me become a stronger member of the insurance community, connect with other industry professionals, and share knowledge about relevant topics in the insurance world,” said Nickles. “The benefits of membership are invaluable.”
Nickles currently serves as chief information officer for IASA, and has volunteered with the association’s Ohio chapter since 2007, where he served as chapter president. He has also served as part of the IASA management team as vice president of volunteer development and vice president of eLearning. Nickles holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration in finance and accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio.
