Career
Gerry Ulland is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for the firm. In this role, Ulland is responsible for overseeing Fort Washington's corporate books and records and all financial matters, and shares oversight responsibility for Operations and Private Equity Finance functions. He is also involved with M&A, strategic endeavors, and serves as the Chairman of the firm’s Risk Committee.
Ulland has over 30 years of experience in the insurance, investment, and financial services industries. Ulland previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Western & Southern Agency and moved to Fort Washington in 2017. He has been with the W&SFG enterprise since 1999, serving in a number of actuarial positions of increasing responsibility including leading the Life Product Development area and forming and leading the Derivative – Linked Annuity Product area of the Firm.
Education & Designation
Ulland received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration specializing in Actuarial Science from the Ohio State University, and he also earned his Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries with a concentration in investments.
