When I come to work here, I know I have a purpose, and the fact that I get to work with a lot of talented individuals across the Enterprise is incredibly fulfilling.

My name is Arihant Sharma.

I am a director of Information Technology and work in the application development space, and I've been here almost 6 years.

I take a lot of pride in being a high-performing team that we have working and delivering innovative solutions to our Revenue generating business units.

But also, at the same time, when I look at the collaboration trust and all the things that we do here as a Department and as an organization.

And the fact that me, as a leader, is able to contribute to the growth and resilience of our organization overall is incredibly fulfilling.

Our secret recipe if you will is um is three things:

So number one, I would say financial strength and stability. If you're looking to make a long-term career, look no further. Western & Southern is a place to be uh our numbers speak for itself.

Second, I would say customer focus. Always be at a company which focuses on customers no matter where you are, which industry you may be going after. Always look at the company which focuses on the customer, and customer is at the center of everything that we do here. It's a core of everything and that's one of the big things that we always go after.

Lastly, join for the people. People here have been stellar support of how the organization has grown over the years and they continue to be the pillar of everything that you would be doing going forward.

Hi! My name is Michelle Eiland.

I am a software quality assurance manager in information technology.

I graduated with my masters in Human Resources so coming to Western & Southern, I thought I would go into HR but then I found the love for technology when I got here and that kind of changed my trajectory.

I think Western & Southern is the ideal place to grow as you can tell I didn't start in a typical role here in it but just through my own working with mentors having conversations and helping hon in on those skills I was able to transition into a position that I like and I'm doing well in.

So uh I encourage people just to think outside of their comfort zone.

I think my career path is open um and that's one of the great things about working at Western & Southern you can kind of reinvent yourself.

You can look at other opportunities within the organization and put the work in to figure out how you learn and grow in those roles so that you can start a new journey, a new path.

I think my career here can be endless depending on what it is I value and want in my career moving forward.
