More than 2,500 pizza-loving guests attended the fifth annual Slice Night on Sept. 27, helping to raise nearly $40,000 for cancer research at the UC Cancer Institute and Barrett Cancer Center.
One hundred percent of the ticket price and drink purchases were donated to cancer research, thanks to presenting sponsor Western & Southern Financial Group (Western & Southern), Cincinnati Magazine, and food and beverage vendors.
Western & Southern associates were an important part of the event’s success, buying a total of 306 tickets to raise $3,600 for cancer research. In addition to the satisfaction of supporting an important cause, guests enjoyed all-you-can-eat pizza, and favorite beverages, and music from Q 102 on the banks of the Ohio River at Yeatman’s Cove – a combination hard to beat!
