Nick Sargen is a senior vice president and the chief economist of Western & Southern Financial Group based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also a senior investment advisor at Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc.
Sargen is known as a frequent guest on TV news programs, including Bloomberg News as an international economist and global money manager and has written multiple books including Investing in the Trump Era: How Economic Policies Impact Financial Markets and Global Shocks: An Investment Guide for Turbulent Markets. In his former role, Sargen served as Chief Investment Officer and was responsible for overseeing the investment activity for all assets under management for Fort Washington and its divisions and subsidiaries. Prior to joining Fort Washington in June 2003, Sargen’s experience encompassed many years as an international economist and global money manager.
- Sargen earned a Ph.D. and a M.A. in economics from Stanford University.
