Hundreds of pizza-loving guests attended Cincinnati Magazine’s 10th annual Slice Night on Sept. 20. The event helped raise $45,825 for the Barrett Cancer Center at the University of Cincinnati. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket and beverage sold at the event benefits the cancer center’s ongoing cancer research efforts.
Advancing cancer care and research is an important cause Western & Southern Financial Group champions through this sponsorship as well as its ongoing leadership and participation in many health and wellness initiatives, including Ride Cincinnati.
In addition to the satisfaction of supporting such an important cause impacting many in our community, Slice Night guests enjoyed all-you-can-eat pizza from more than 10 area pizzerias and live music from The Satin Smooth Project on the banks of the Ohio River at Yeatman’s Cove.
A total of $316,407 has been donated through Slice Night since it began in 2014. Western & Southern has been a presenting sponsor since the event’s inception.
