Jonathan D. Niemeyer, Western & Southern Financial Group senior vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel, was profiled in LEADERS magazine’s April/May/June 2022 edition. In a Q&A article, Niemeyer answered questions posed by the magazine’s editor.
The topics covered included purpose, financial services careers and community involvement. When asked about Western & Southern’s purpose, Niemeyer explained that the company’s ultimate purpose is to help customers with their financial needs, but it also prides itself on being a good corporate citizen.
Reflecting on his own career in the financial services industry, Niemeyer described how we are in the business of offering peace of mind to customers, a mission he considers an attractive proposition for many young people in search of a career, not just a job.
Niemeyer also discussed how Western & Southern takes its responsibility to the community very seriously. “The dimension, complexity and variability of the challenges facing any metropolitan area simply demand that businesses get and stay involved,” said Niemeyer. Western & Southern and its associates are actively involved in the community in support of the company’s vision to make its hometown of Cincinnati the best place to live, work and celebrate life.
