New York residents can now pursue their retirement wealth goals via distinctive interest crediting options in an insured solution from a highly rated issuer.

Western & Southern Financial Group has launched Indextra® NY. Available exclusively in New York, the single premium deferred fixed indexed annuity (FIA) is issued by National Integrity Life Insurance Company (National Integrity Life), a Western & Southern Financial Group member.

Product highlights include:

  • Growth opportunity via five allocation options. Three are indexed crediting strategies (tied to positive performance of the S&P 500® Index). Two others are fixed interest strategies. Owners may allocate among any combination.
  • Rate-to-term certainty of up to 10 years. Guarantee periods of 5, 7 or 10 years (matching the declining withdrawal charge period options) for the interest rate caps and credited interest rates of the Cap Lock 1-Year Point-to-Point and Multi-Year Fixed allocation options, respectively.
  • A performance-triggered indexed crediting option. Owners capture annual interest crediting whenever the S&P 500® Index return is 0% or greater.
  • Positive market participation only. All allocation options guarantee growth with no risk of negative performance. The minimum accumulation value feature, included with no market value adjustment or added fee, guards against negative returns regardless of market results.
  • Guarantees backed by the claims-paying ability of a New York State domiciled leader in financial strength and stability. National Integrity Life is rated A+ (Superior) by A.M. Best and has a Comdex ranking of 96.*

“Indextra NY is a terrific option for individuals at or near retirement age who value protection against market volatility,” said Mark Caner, president of W&S Financial Group Distributors, Inc., the product’s distributor. “An annuity that delivers guaranteed growth with multiple allocation choices helps provide confidence in the face of market volatility. Each of Indextra NY’s allocation options does just that.”

Allocation options include:

  • S&P 500® Index: 1-Year Point-to-Point: Tied in part to the performance of the S&P 500® Index, with annual interest crediting subject to cap-rate maximum. A new annual cap rate applies each crediting year.
  • S&P 500® Index: Cap Lock 1-Year Point-to-Point: Tied in part to the performance of the S&P 500® Index, with annual interest crediting subject to cap-rate maximum. The cap rate is locked for the entire withdrawal charge period (5, 7 or 10 years).
  • S&P 500® Index: 1-Year Performance Triggered: Tied in part to the performance of the S&P 500® Index, with annual interest crediting based on a predetermined performance threshold the index must attain for the period. Provided the return is at least 0%, the stated “trigger” rate will be credited.
  • Fixed Interest Rate: 1-Year: The interest rate is declared each year in advance. It is never less than the current guaranteed minimum interest rate as defined in the contract.
  • Fixed Interest Rate: Multi-Year: The interest rate is declared in advance and guaranteed for entire withdrawal charge period (5, 7 or 10 years). It is never less than the current guaranteed minimum interest rate as defined in the contract.

Indextra NY is issued for ages 0-85 and is available by digital submission only via electronic order-entry platforms.
