W&S Financial Group Distributors Names Formica Senior RVP

W&S Financial Group Distributors, Inc., wholesale distributor of annuities and life insurance from Western & Southern Financial Group member companies, has named Michael (Mike) Formica as senior regional vice president, financial institution and broker-dealer distribution, for Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.

Formica works consultatively with financial professionals to advance the retirement and legacy planning needs of their clients. He provides training, product information, marketing and sales-support planning and business-building tips and techniques.

Formica began his career with First Investors Corporation. He then advanced to sales consultant, retirement income wholesaler and senior regional vice president positions with New York Life before joining W&S Financial Group Distributors. A graduate of University at Albany, State University of New York, Formica is life insurance licensed and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations. He also holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP) designation. He will be residing in the Sarasota, Florida area with his wife and two daughters.
