W&S Financial Group Distributors Names Julie Richmond VP of Business Development

 W&S Financial Group Distributors, Inc., wholesale distributor of annuities and life insurance from member companies of Western & Southern Financial Group, has promoted Julie Richmond to vice president of business development for financial institutions.

In her role, Richmond builds and maintains strong relationships with banks, broker-dealers and sales teams nationwide to maximize sales opportunities and profitability.

Richmond joined W&S Financial Group Distributors as a senior regional vice president in 2018. Richmond previously held positions with Symetra, Mutual of America, Forethought Life, Transamerica, AIG Annuity and US Bank. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University, as well as FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations and life and health licenses. She resides in Colorado Springs, Colo.
