W&S Financial Group Distributors Names Mei Senior RVP

W&S Financial Group Distributors, Inc., wholesale distributor of annuities and life insurance from Western & Southern Financial Group member companies, has named Zifang “Zi” Mei as senior regional vice president, financial institution and broker-dealer distribution, for California.

Mei works consultatively with financial professionals to advance the retirement and legacy planning needs of their clients. He provides training, product information, marketing and sales-support planning and business-building tips and techniques.  

“With his successful track record as a senior external wholesaler for more than a decade, Zi is a tremendous addition to our team,” said Harvey Fladeland, senior vice president, financial institution and broker-dealer distribution, W&S Financial Group Distributors. “He will be a valuable resource supporting financial professionals and their firms as they help clients invest, protect and manage risk for their retirement and legacy.”

Mei began his career in financial services working as an advisor representing Pruco Securities and New England Securities. He was also with Sun Life Financial, Beechwood Global and PB Global Financial, and most recently served as a regional sales director with Saybrus Partners. Mei is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations. He resides in Claremont, California with his wife and two sons.
