The Ohio Valley Agency of The Western and Southern Life Insurance Company (Western & Southern Life), a member of Western & Southern Financial Group (Western & Southern), has received the company’s highest annual honor, the President’s Trophy.
The prestigious award from Western & Southern Life recognizes outstanding performance and operation by an agency in both sales and client service. The Ohio Valley Agency is located in Monaca, Pennsylvania and serves an area that extends into Ohio.
“To obtain the coveted President’s Trophy, it takes a strong team that is committed to achieving results,” said Troy Brodie, president and chief marketing officer of Western & Southern Life’s Agency Group. “Among the many factors that played a role in The Ohio Valley Agency earning this recognition, disciplined execution and team spirit rise to the top.”
Western & Southern Life’s agencies are rated monthly in five key categories focusing on growth results and client retention. A financial representative in The Ohio Valley Agency, Dan Onufryk, also earned Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualification.

John F. Barrett, chairman, president and chief executive officer for Western & Southern, and Brodie presented the President’s Trophy to the Ohio Valley team members at a dinner and awards ceremony held at The Renaissance Hotel in Pittsburgh on March 1.
