Our Interview Process

We typically begin recruiting for internships in early September every year. Full year internships begin in January and summer internships begin in May. Our interview process involves four key steps:

  1. Phone Interview: Our Campus Recruiter will contact you at the phone number listed on your resume to learn more about you and your experience.
  2. Hiring Manager Review: The hiring manager for the position will review your qualifications to ensure a good fit for the position.
  3. Hiring Manager Interview: If you qualify for the position, we will schedule an interview for you to meet the manager and/or team. The interview might be in-person or virtual.
  4. Final Decision: Our Campus Recruiter will contact you regarding the final decision. If you are selected for the position, we will work out specific internship details, such as your start date, duration of your internship and more.

Types of Internships

Accounting

Gain experience in general ledger, investment accounting and financial reporting. Potential to rotate through the accounting, auditing and treasury departments.

Actuary

Apply mathematical, statistical and technical skills to analyze data and reports, in addition to verifying data and reports using actuarial principles and mathematical analysis.

Finance

Gain insight into the investment industry and work with senior management on projects in data analysis, marketing, client service and compliance.

Information Technology

Provide support for a variety of IT teams including project management, system testing, data analysis, cybersecurity, customer support and programming.

Internal Audit

Assist in delivering independent assurance by supporting internal audits, control analysis and effectiveness assessments for key operations.

IT/Internal Audit Rotation

Perform risk-based activities for financial, operational, systems and management controls while conducting quality assurance-related process research and data analysis.

Real Estate

Develop skills in asset management and mortgage loans, grow real estate investment knowledge and collaborate on loan recommendations and financial analyses.

Human Resources

Gain hands-on experience in recruitment, talent development and other HR activities. Learn more about the daily operations of a company’s HR department.

Marketing/Sales

Develop and execute marketing strategies, learn more about the sales strategies of various business units and how to analyze market trends to drive business growth.

Law

Learn more about financial regulations, contract review, compliance and legal research to understand how legalities affect the financial services industry.

Investment Operations

Help conduct research, capture data and maintain essential processes while expanding your knowledge of the investment industry, securities, policies and standards.

Private Equity & Private Client Group

Support sourcing, executing and monitoring investments. Gain experience in business analysis, operations, marketing, client service, compliance and investments.
