Educators assume a great deal of responsibility when it comes to preparing students for life outside the classroom. To recognize these efforts and reward educational excellence in our community, we established the Dr. Lawrence C. Hawkins Educator of the Year Award, named after an esteemed former member of our company’s board of directors.
Each year, we recognize a group of outstanding educators from Cincinnati Public Schools who elevate the educational process and make a positive impact on their students. In addition to hosting an annual marquee event for award semifinalists and finalists, we present one winner a $10,000 cash prize.
