Christopher D. Shipley
Senior Vice President & Co-Chief Investment Officer
Christopher D. Shipley is senior vice president and co-chief investment officer of Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Western & Southern Financial Group. He oversees all equity investment activity with a primary focus on setting equity investment policy and directing equity portfolio management, research, trading and risk management functions.
Shipley joined Western & Southern in 2024 and has more than 26 years of industry experience. Prior to joining W&S, he was with Northern Trust Asset Management in Chicago where he held various senior leadership positions from 2000 to 2023. Most recently, he was chief investment strategist for North America, where he chaired the Tactical Asset Allocation Committee.
- Shipley holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
