One of the things I absolutely love about our company is how much we give back to the community. And the longer that I've gone in my career, the more that I've been able to see all the different ways that we are giving back.
Hi, I'm Valerie Holmes, and I am the Vice President of the Enterprise Engagement Platform Strategy and Operations team. So for me, it started so many years back, the first time I volunteered, and we were just doing cleanup work and just to be part of that, and to be able to bring my children along too, to see this is how you give back to others. Showed me that our organization, we band together to do things for others, and it just made me realize what a special place this is to work.
I know a lot of organizations like to contribute and like to give back to the community, but I truly believe there's nothing and there’s no other company like Western and Southern, when it comes to giving back. Almost every single month, you can find a cause or a charity or something that Western and Southern is supporting. For example, we've got Arts Wave, we've got the Heart Mini Marathon, the MS walk. There's so many different types of community activities that we are a part of. And so Western and Southern, our name is all over the place when it comes to this city and what we what we support. And I'm extremely proud to work for this organization. And I believe if you want to work for a company that that both cares about who you are and also cares about the community, you won't find anything better than Western and Southern.
